Awkward Season 1 Episode 10 - No Doubt synopsis:
Matty asks Jenna out on their first official date, but a revelation has Jenna questioning everything about their romance.

Awkward. is an American comedy-drama series which premiered on July 19, 2011 on MTV. The show revolves around the life of 15-year-old Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards), who is struggling with her identity, especially after an accident is misconstrued as a suicide attempt.

MTV is airing 12 episodes of the half-hour series. MTV also renewed the series for a second season in 2012, days after the cancellation of their original teen comedy series The Hard Times of RJ Berger.

The series is based around social outcast Jenna Hamilton who, following an accident that rumors misconstrue as a suicide attempt, starts being noticed by all the students at her school. By making changes and embracing her misfortune, she becomes well-known by her peers. While having to deal with a new, not-so-fun stigma, she still has to manage the daily drama that comes with being a teenager.
